Samsung Galaxy Ace - first time charging

I bought Samsung Galaxy Ace home delivered today through COD from Letsbuy.com for 13500 after applying 2k coupon code.

I got an question - At first time should I have to charge it for 6 or 8 hours to attain full battery power and maintain long life of battery.

^^Not sure if anything like that is applicable to cell phone batteries. Just charge the phone to 100% and then possibly let it discharge fully and then again recharge.

But this is method is usually done to ensure that the memory effect does not occur but for the current generation of batteries nothing like this is needed.

Just charge to 100% and use your phone.

No frills.

I don't think it matters as the batteries are Li-ON and you charge mid-way, plug out midway, have been using it like that on my phone 1 year now. Still gives me the same 2 days work..
