Not comparing with other droids. Just with the Iphone since this looks so much similar to that. ;)
 
Hope price drops quickly. The Optimus One P500 costs 11.7k in ebay buy 12.5k in flipkart. So hope that street prices in Mumbai and Delhi are lower :)
Even the P500 was launched @ a 13kish price point but price dropped quickly. This would make a good buy @ 13.5k-14k

But in Mumbai the VAT Rate is 12.5%... :(

Give us a quick take on the piece ... like touch sensitivity, UI etc. How does the display look, is it good enough for its price? I doubt the price will drop before April'11. Also I heard they didn't include headset to the package, is it so?

Touch quality is good like on galaxy 3 n spica.

Display quality is between spica n galaxy 3.

I would say its worth 13-13.5k but if you can acquire it at 14-14.5k then it would still be worth it.

The back panel was textured and much durable than sgs, so welll built..

I picked up this phone on the 17th... used it for less tghan a day, returned it back to the dealer for loss of 1K

very disappointed with the phone,

Display is sad, looks like a cheap China phone,

During my one day use, phone restarted more than 5-6 times.. :(

Battery back up is horrible, not even 6-7 hrs on medium usage...

The Home button is of such cheap quality that after few hours of use i had to press it very hard for any response on the phone...

OS Speed is decent, Browser is also good (doesn't play flash)

Build quality is good

overall i would rate - 5/10...

guy pls avoid this phone, not worth the 15K, i think Optimus is much better phone...

I never expected this from Samsung,i have an Samsung S5200 and my mom has the micromax A60(sound quality is bad,not a good music phone) both are great phones.i though all Samsung phones would be as good or even better than mine.

yes spica has much better screen.

what i mean is, now almost androids in this price range come with screen of this quality. neither galxy3 nor optimus one have screen to be compared with spica.

the best one can get in price range is wave II 8530.

only if it was possible to slap android on it.. (for me :P)
