Samsung Galaxy Core I8262 mid-range Android smartphone which was announced last month is now available in India.



The Galaxy Core is available for Rs 15,200 on Flipkart and Rs 15,350 ( 14,580 after applying 5% off coupon ) on Infibeam. Shipping will start in 1st week of July.

  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS

  • 1GB RAM, 8GB storage , microSD card slot
  • 5MP Rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash

It is a smaller alternative to the Galaxy Grand Quattro ( 4.7 inch screen) will compete with the likes of Sony Xperia L which fall in same price range.
 
Damn, it is almost impossible to keep pace with all the random galaxy phones samsung is launching now a days.
Good chance that these phones might not see the next version of the OS (from what it is currently on).
 
they haven't specified the processor model, but i guess it is same as Grand Duos ( 1.2GHz Broadcom Cortex A9 ) .

I guess the processor is old enough that it will not be able to handle 720p video recording.
