Fresh leaks confirm the same. Enter the Samsung Galaxy Grand DUOS. Borrowing heavily from the Galaxy Note II from the same manufacturer, Samsung aims to target a lower price bracket with their cheaper version of what is undoubtedly the company's flagship as well as the fastest (count in, largest) android running device (be it a phablet). Samsung Galaxy Grand DUOS GT-I8092

Following the recent rumors of Samsung preparing a cheaper version of the Note II, the Galaxy Grand Duos arrives just in time at FCC to confirm the same. Packing some distinctly similar features, while some others which might make or break this phone for potential buyers, let's have a look at it's expected specifications shall we.
Samsung Galaxy Grand DUOS Full Specifications:

  • 1.4 GHz quad core Exynos chipset
  • 2,100 mAh battery
  • 5" WVGA (800x480) display

Yes, you read that right. A 5" display alright, but with a measly WVGA (800x480) pixels resolution only. Hardly a pretty sight on a 5" display. Pixels will be jumping and screaming at you all the way, especially if you're used to high resolution qHD or HD displays (or soon to be, Full HD displays). The pixel density works out to be just about ~181 ppi. See if you can live with it.

The Galaxy Grand DUOS will most probably come in Metallic Blue and Elegant White color schemes. We expect Samsung to showcase this device at CES, Las Vegas coming January, 2013.

With the likes of ZTE, Huawei and Lenovo at its heels, Samsung had better price this at sub 20k price.
