Samsung is launching their first dual sim phablet (a worldwide model), the Galaxy Grand. It packs a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1 GB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and plenty of internal storage. What really brings it down is the paltry display, which is just at WVGA (800*480) for a whole 5" spread. Might lead to some nasty pixellation.
Samsung Galaxy Grand
There are two versions of the Galaxy Grand, one of them simply being a dual sim version. The phone is physically large, as a phablet would be (but smaller than the Galaxy Note). Despite being 143.5 mm tall, the phone is slit at just 9.6 mm. Even the weight isn't outrageous, 162 grams gives comfortable weight. The phone itself is more than capable, which you will find out if you read it's specs.
Samsung Galaxy Grand Specifications
The phone does get it right with more than decent specifications. The Galaxy Grand comes with the latest Touch Wiz. It also supports multi window moe (two apps simultaneously on the screen). The usual array of features is also included (S Voice , Direct Call, Samsung Hubs, etc.) Perhaps if the display was better we would find it far easier to recommend this phone. It all boils down to it's pricing now.
