Wow...so nice to see people helping others. Great going guys :)
Hope to see this thing closed soon and OP getting his money. The seller seems like a serial con artist from the old 2010 thread. Hope Dexter is reading this post and his Dark Passenger tells him to do what is best.
 
Just now called the number on the last page and thats indeed Deepak's Dad's number, So i requested him to sort this out, As per him today was Bank Holiday in Bangalore so he will deposit cash tomorrow. So i hope he will deposit money tomorrow.

I've also called on 0988000601 but Deepak received the call and he was saying he just got the call from someone else from TE so I think you just called him, I am so grateful to you and all the TE members from the bottom of my heart.:signthankspin: I wish tomorrow I will get the money back. I am so tensed and unable to concentrate on anything from the past 15-20 days.
 
I hope Abhi_jolly gets the money by tomorrow, as for such frauds, I have a suggestion that anyone who wishes to sell on TE should send a scanned copy of legal identity card having his photo, address name etc(ie voters card, driving license, PAN card)
If security is problem this copies should be kept safe with moderators and maybe shared with a buyer(who is confirmed to buy the item) on request, would make the tracing process really easy and take out the tension on buyers as well as sellers

No we have the no. and address..hope the seller will not act foolish anymore and return the amount.
 
I hope Abhi gets the money..and this guy should face a lawsuit for mental harassment and his ass handed to him for this scam.

In that case anyone who wants to trade have to provide a proof, I know its a hassle and more work to do for moderators so it can applied to transaction of high value upwards of 10k(as this case)
From this thread I also saw that members are more than happy to help out so some of the old well known members can help out and the holding work could be distrubuted

Just a small suggestion - to market deals - How bout sharing some pics of the package by the seller to the buyer(or in the thread) so that the courier mishandling can be ruled out, in case there's any?
That would help the buyer to inspect the package in before taking the delivery.
 
Seller sms came in which he said - Hi I could only deposit 14k... remaining will be done tomorrow, check acc. and confirm....

He only deposited the 14k which I can feel that he needed the money at that time or what. May be that is why he did all this???


I think and feel that he had to deposit the amount because he came to know that TE people came to know about my address and phone numbers??????????????
 
@mathrisk Why take all the pain? Just insure the package by paying a few hundred Rs more. Peace of my mind to both parties!!

Good news at-least u got the 70% amount back and i hope u get the balance by tomorrow.
 
Hope you don't get too happy about the 70% of the money that you have got and let go of the 30% thinking "one bird in the hand is better than two in the bush"

No guys, I am not at all sitting here calmly thinking that I have got the 70% amount. Seller told me that he wasn't able to deposit the remaining amount because bank was closed on the Saturday, so he will deposit today. Let see. :)
 
Update - I told him yesterday that please deposit the remaining amount today then after 8-9 hours, I told him that I have not received the remaining amount till now on which he said hey please give me one or two days... held up with some work, need to arrange cash.

Now guys what is the meaning of need to arrange cash?

Does it mean that he spent the money as he was in need of it and that is why he did all this?
