Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Confirmed For MWC, Leaked Roadmap Shows More Upcoming Devices

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is now confirmed and expected to be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.

Samsung's head of mobile JK Shin has reportedly told iNews24 that the Galaxy Note 8 will be shown off at MWC.

TechnoBuffalo has also got a leaked roadmap of Samsung which shows the Galaxy Note N5100 and a couple of other devices which might be on cards for MWC.



The rumored specs for the Galaxy Note 8 are-
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • 8-inch 1280 x 800-pixel display
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean,
  • 1.6GHz Quad-core Processor
  • 5-megapixel camera Back Camera with Autofocus
  • 1.3-megapixel Front camera
  • 16/32GB internal storage, MicroSD card slot
  • Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, HSPA+ 21Mbps
  • 4600mAh battery

Apart from the Galaxy Note 8, the other devices rumored for MWC are Galaxy X Cover 2, Galaxy Young and Galaxy Pocket Plus

The Galaxy X Cover 2 is rumored to be water and dust proof with IP57 certification. It will have 4" WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core CPU, 5MP camera + VGA front camera,

4GB storage+microSD slot, BT 4.0, Wi-Fi, HSPA+ 14.4Mbps and 1700mAh battery.



The Galaxy Young is different from current Galaxy Y , it is slighly improved budget offering and expected to go on sale in April.



Finally, the Galaxy Pocket Plus will also be a budget handset with 2.8" display and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is expected to launch in Feb.
