its priced almost same as Galaxy S III which is quite as expected . they are targeting the iPad with this ..
flipkart has listed it for 38.5k

Well I feel at this price it is very very expensive.

Even if it is priced on the level of IPAD than too it is very expensive. Practical user experience of IPAD it awesome.

my view is at the moment IPAD has no competition

the Galaxy Note 800 is identical to the model sold internationally. However, it does come with a very hefty price tag. Samsung is selling the Note 800 in India for ₹39,900, which is approximately $720, an enormous $221 more than the international model that sells for $499.

Having said that, Samsung does enjoy tremendous presence and brand value in Asian markets such as India compared to Apple, so it may help offset the high price tag to some extent.

WTF samsung?

You can get a new iPad at 30k, why would anyone go for this??
I'm a big time apple hater, but believe me when I tell you..the new iPad look ridiculously awesome. It's just WWWOOOOOWWW!!
Of course the OS underneath is same old boring stuff, the Display is just gorgeous.
If I had money, I would buy the new iPad just for that amazing display. It's a pleasure to watch videos on it.

I can't see any reason why anyone would go for Note tablet, that too for 40k. No way.
Big fail on Samsung's part when it comes to price this.

Nice work of Copy-paste though :bleh:

On Topic
So Samsung, you sell products to customers where you are valued, at a high price
and sell it at a low
price where you are KICKED in your A$$?? So this is today's business strategy..wow!!

I copied paste for the cause. Every1 knows its a source of GSMarena. Anyways, yes samsung has to take out 1.5$ billion from somewhere and they targeted the weakest Nation without any issues.

Weakest nation wow people sometimes have no Idea what they are posting....
