While Samsung Galaxy Note III is just around the corner, it appears that Samsung has another variant of Galaxy Note II with Snapdragon 600 chipset on the cards.
Samsung Galaxy Note II currently comes with a Samsung Exynos 4412 quad-core Cortex A9 processor but AnTuTu benchmark score of its N7108D variant has leaked which shows a Snapdragon 600 chipset and Android 4.2.2 OS.
The Galaxy Note II ND7108D with its 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 processor scored 26,901 in the AnTuTu bennchmark which is even faster than the Galaxy S4 and almost twice of the Exynos variant available currently.
Not only AnTuTu, but the N7108D model has also passed by the FCC and made appearance on the Bluetooth SIG site which further adds credence to the rumor.
So is it possible that Samsung is planning to refresh its Note II and sell it as a cheaper alternative to the upcoming Galaxy Note III ? We will have to wait a little more to find out .
