As each day passes, we come closer and closer to a Galaxy S IV launch, and each day brings fresh rumors of more amazing features of technologies that Sammy's next generation flagship smartphone will withhold. And for today's dosage, we have unbreakable displays. Yep, that's right. Unbreakable is the word. Read on to find how how exactly that might be possible (if it is, in the first place).

Unbreakable display on the Galaxy S IV

The Samsung Galaxy S IV is already shaping up to be an amazing device. Said to pack a 4.99" Super AMOLED display carrying a mighty resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels (1080p FULL HD), the device is said to be powered by Samsung's next generation 8 core chipset (four ARM Cortex A15 high performance cores with four ARM Cortex A7 high power efficiency cores).

But the train doesn't stop there. Fresh news points towards Samsung's next flagship having an unbreakable display. And how exactly is that possible? Simple, Samsung will put more of it's favorite material on earth into their next super phone, i.e. Plastic.

Yep, plastic is the answer. The Galaxy S IV's display will be made from plastic instead of glass. We are yet to see how that happens and what are the repercussions, but if it turns out good, well who's to complain?

well people with butter fingers will surely accept any unwanted side effects/downsides of this new technology(if it even exists)...,well and i guess the launch of these next gen flagship phones will mark smartphones finally reaching the horsepower of the ps vita..,the A-15 cores ought to do it on the processor side(and i am considering the burden of the OS i.e android too here),and the latest arm gpu's also pack a punch..too bad no dev's are going to push these baddies through the hoops for the foreseeable future...

Actually, the VITA has already been surpassed in many fields except graphical processing power.

Vita has:
- qHD display
- 512 MB of RAM
- quad core ARM Cortex A9 CPUs
- PowerVR SGX544 MP4+ (+ is for higher than stock clock speeds)
- 128 MB of VRAM

The Exynos 5 dual based on ARM Cortex A15 dual core and ARM Mali T604 GPU already beats it in CPU performance. So does the Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core based on Krait CPUs. The Exynos 5 quad with a quad core ARM Cortex A15 will sure beat it in that front. Also, the Exynos 5 quad will feature a new Mali T6xx GPU with DOUBLE the number of cores as the T604, which will allow it to pull ahead of the Apple iPad 4 and PS Vita in the graphics department (hopefully).
