Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 now being sold in India for Rs. 32,990
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (Model number - GT P5100) which was announced back at MWC 2012 earlier this year is now being sold in India from the Samsung eStore. The Galaxy Tab 2 310, which is a very similar 7 inch variant of this Tablet was also launched in India in May.
The Tab 2 10.1 has a 10.1 inch WXGA PLS TFT display with a resolution of 1280 × 800, a 1 GHz Dual Cored Processor, Android 4.0 (ie, Ice Cream Sandwich) featuring with Samsung's proprietary Touchwiz UI, a rear 3 Mega Pixel camera and a VGA front facing camera.
The Tab 2 10.1 is 9.7 mm thick and weighs in at 583 grams. It is very similar to the Galaxy Tab 2 310, and is fully equipped with mobile voice call features and also All Share Play, Readers Hub, Game Hub, My Movies and Samsung ChatON cross platform chatting and other multimedia services.
Other networking/connectivity features include, 3G HSPA+ 21Mbps, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, a 1GB of internal RAM, 16 GB of internal storage and a MicroSD which supports up to 32GB of external storage. The Tab has a humongous 7,000 mAh battery.
It is now available from Samsung eStore for Rs. 32,990.
