Samsung launches dual-SIM Android phones – Galaxy Y Duos, Y Pro Duos

Samsung has launched its first dual-SIM Android smartphones today. Dubbed as Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos, both are entry-level devices and come with Gingerbread on-board. Company has promised to release them in the select markets starting next month.

Part of company’s Galaxy Y series, which is targeted to youngsters, Galaxy Y Duos features 3.14 inch display, and 832MHz processor. You can check out the full list of specifications below.

Decent entry level phones. If priced like the current Galaxy Y will definite entice the dual SIM lovers to move to smart phones.

I have heard that these fones [1 sim variant] have bad battery life.

What will happen when these fone will work with 2 sim cards

Yeah, the battery life will get worse. And i think they should have also updated the resolution on galaxy y duos. Qvga for a 3.2 inch screen is bad. But if they are priced under 8k, i think it will be a great hit here.
