Obviously they are not interested in learning. Wait for the "amazing 40% off" offer, in March.

Samsung lost the budget and mid range segment to Moto, MMX, Xiaomi which it ruled a couple of years back. What could/should have been a 'good' price point by Samsung for these phones?

I think it should have priced somewhere between 15-18K max.

o_O Shame-Sung has seriously lost it. In this range we have other good options available now like OnePlusOne/Xiaomi

RIP Shame-Sung :mask:

Would people still consider it even at this price point? Even an old Samsung user like me (currently using Galaxy S3, no grudges except updates and the bloated touchwiz) might not go for these unless the price is below/around 15k.

The Price is for E7 according to samsung's standard of pricing.

They can make a comeback with good price I think a la Moto. People still do give importance to a brand name.

The key to Samsung success would be a HD screen with 1 GB ram and quad core under 9k and then increase specs with slight increase in cost .

This reminds me of Nokia days, when they ruled the market . Samsung came and spoiled the party and then Micromax/Lava and Other Chinese companies are making it hard for these big companies. Its a Win Win situation for the consumer.

Samsung Galaxy.. What? With falling sales, Samsung is making sales through EMI route, I have seen half a dozen people buying Sammy phones using EMI option in the last 2months.
