Amazon is accepting pre-for a new special edition of Netbook Samsung NC10 (NC10-11PBK).

For $ 499, the proposed model is black, with bigger touchpad and a new battery 6-cell 5900 mAh that will allow a range of about 9.4 hours. Unlike the classic NC10, which has a bright display, this particular edition instead mount a glossy type screen, which will also improve the color rendering in optimal lighting conditions, but in the open could cause some problems.

At the same time the "old" Samsung NC10 is proposed at $ 445, 50 less than the new. There are no images on this special edition, but given the larger touchpad could be the version that appeared on the network some time ago that had a mysterious and its great touchpad.
 
Maybe just because Samsung NC10 came after all this and could see pros and cons of each company's product.

However Asus EEEPC and Aspire One are some real underdogs which made bigger companies to come into this market. (with less margin etc etc).

I'll though wait for Asus EEEPC with GFX HDMI port , then compare these :D .

I guess they will b priced so much that one would think its better to buy a lappy rather than this..and only scoring point on it will be less weight i guess....

Really samsung nc10 is priced great......better priced..than hp and dell stuff.....dont know why these 2 peeps price with their heads off

The newer HP is actually decently priced for a change :) 23.5 I think, only -tive being the 3cell batt.

Didnt knew that...i thght its 28k.....ya 3 cell is big downer.....thats the reason i never went for netbook.....and still without any neither netbook or notebook........
 
The review completely overlooks the EeePC's multi-touch track pad and the Draft N wifi. As a person using both features extensively, I find it a bit odd that they score so low in comparison to the competition.

i love the hp mini and the samsung nc10 both. how much can u get the hp for lowest price also the samsung ? ? ? ?
 
Is there a GO in the works for the NC10?

Btw, does Samsung offer a global warranty? I'm pretty much set on getting the NC10SE in white, whenever Amazon releases it.
