That's a good news. And I think I will have the apple warranty on it coz UK has apple stores unlike India. Correct me if I am wrong

I believe that's because of the 20% VAT in EU. In US, except in some states, usually no taxes are levied if you shop online. And even if you get stuff from brick and mortar store, only the state taxes apply and are usually much less than 20%.

I think you are correct there. I am yet to face an issue with my mothers 5S phone. *touchwood*

Is it a good idea to buy? Well out of 10 million that was sold, for argument sake say 5 million was the plus model. Or even say 1 million was the plus model sold. In that only handful faced this issue.
Just like many other phones that faced that issue. Of that I own the 5S too. Even the Note 3 bended somewhere. Which also I own.

So is it a good idea to buy this coz it bend for a handful of people?. My only concern is the cost for this thing. Not if it bends or not. I have 2 year Apple care with this.

However I do have question. "Apple, why didn't you make this few mm thicker? At least the size of the camera module?"

I actually think they should have made it a little thinner. I didn't like the feel of the 6 Plus in hand at all. 6 on the other hand felt great.
Same thing I felt when holding HTC One and One MAX.
I don't have big hands so maybe that's the issue but I don't feel the same with the Note 3 or G Flex. The ergonomics, at least for me, were much better on the 6 than the 6 Plus and hands down the best on the G3 for a 5.5" screen.

Yep, 6 plus seems like an afterthought, one of the reviewers mentioned this too.

How many people are going to go for a 6+ out of the previous iphone users. All they've seen are 4 inch phones, 4.7 is already a step up. 5.5 is too big. Its there because some complained apple wasn't keeping up with the times. But apple can't make big phones well yet. V1 product and all. The next large screen iteration will be better.

As for larger metallic phones i don't know how you can handle them without fearing they might slip out of your hands. So you need a case just to increase grip but then there are those that don't like that. Only a matter of time before they drop it. Inevitable.

You might want to call it as your own opinion.
Metal body doesn't mean that ppl drop it inevitably though they are slippery compared to the plastic surfaces.
5.5 isn't too big considering phones of this size has been in the market for too long now. I am not saying its cool with all. I myself dont like the larger form factor above 5 inch. But its nothing new.

What did iphones ever replace before apart from their older counterparts?
Any isheep with no problem is a larger screen will buy a iphone6+. I can be wrong but not the sale stats
 
Jeri,how much is 6+ 128 GB costing you from US . I asked my Mausi and she said it will be around 55k with taxes , now this is NY price .

If its really 55K for 6+ 128GB then its dirt cheap and when someone comes he can bring it along with him as his personal using phone.

Yup, every non-EU citizen should. And actually you don't need to stand in a queue to get the tax return. Just get the bill stamped by the custom officers while leaving and send it back to the seller. They would refund you if you purchased through credit card. All the big online retailers (and many brick stores too ) support this.
