Samsung Omnia M officially launches in India for Rs. 18,650

Samsung has now officially launched the Omnia M in India for Rs 18,650. The phone runs windows 7.5 Tango and it went on sale last week in India from Samsung's official eStore. The smartphone has a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen which runs on a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also has a 1 GHz processor powering it and a rear 5 Mega Pixel Camera which has an LED flash, and also a front camera for video calls.

The Omnia M also has the usual features such as a 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio with RDS, 384 MB of internal RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. The connectivity options include, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v 2.1, aGPS, and USB 2.0. The device runs on a 1500 Mah Li-on battery and comes pre-installed with Samsung Chan On cross-platform communication app, Tango voice calling app(mVoIP), xbox live app and more.

I would be highly surprised if such a late Entry by samsung and in the 17-20K price band would even sell 5000 units in India .
