Budget 20-25K Samsung S3 Or Note 2

Hey guys i just sold my cdma and transferred my CDMA connection into a gsm and now iam on vodafone.I have a 4s on my other mobile and for my new gsm connection iam looking for either s3 or note2.
Iam not sure wether note 2 would be a good choice or S3.I wont be changing my phone for atleast 2-3 yrs.Any suggestions for this newbie.

Depends on what exactly you are looking for. I would prefer a Note 2, but that doesn't mean that the S3 is not good. Please fill the template given in the sticky thread in this section so that members can answer your query better.

A: Bar (i dont know what this means in details but form like s3 or iphone is only needed)

3. Preferred display type?
A: TFT(good quality dont know technical stuff)

4. Do you have any brand preference or dislike? Please name them.
A: Want to buy only Nokia's phone.(main focus on samsung as i feel it would last me sometime)

5. Preferred input method (Touchscreen, QWERTY, etc.)?
A: Touchscreen(only touch)

6. Camera required or not? If required, please specify type like front camera/flash/etc.
A: Required a 5MP camera. Flash.(required)

7. Preferred operating system? (Android, Symbian, iOS, Windows Phone etc).
A: Symbian(android as i have an apple but i dont want BB but cld consider windows phone)

8. Preferred connectivity options? (3G, Wifi, Edge etc).
A: 3G.(3g or 2g But mostly wifi on 4mbps)

9. What is your intended use for this phone(internet, camera, multimedia, mails, etc)?
A: Camera, mails and internet.(not much camera but yah it would be a good addition.And internet is very important with good focus on gaming).

10. Any other requirements?
A: Don't require dual sim/require dual sim/etc.(None)

11. If you have already considered a phone then please mention the model.
A: Nokia X6/None ( Samsung S3 Or note2)

If you are comfortable with screen size of Note 2 its definitely a better buy than S3 ...

Note 2 is far better than S3.
Go for Note 2.

Go for Note 2. Other phones will feel puny after a week.

If you can manage Note 2's size then go for it.

Things where Note 2 is better than S3
1. Screen: S-Stripe RGB better than Pentile matrix arrangement
2.Battery Life : 59Hrs on Gsmarena's Battery Test as compared to 50Hrs on S3
3.Audio Quality: While both of them have Wolfson DAC,but Note 2 has less oi(0.90 ohms) than s3(3.45 ohms)

Specs wise of course note 2 would be a better choice if you are ok with that big screen and not averse to spending a bit more. But I have just bought an S3 and am quite satisfied with it as the screen is quite big without being unmanageable. Just updated to 4.1.2 and works like a charm. Go to a store pick up both in the hands at the same time and decide. You can't go wrong with either since both would be getting android 5.

yah size is not an issue as i love big screens.I just wanted to know if there is any basic problem with note 2 other than the screen size.Also is it like future proof.
