A cheap alternative to GS2. The Galaxy R has tegra 2 dual core processor and 5 mp camera. It will be released at the end of july.

Yep. I am wondering how big of a price difference is it going to be from SGS II to make it worthwhile to invest.

Now lets hope for a decent pricing on this one. Dont think would be any less than 25k.

The high end games that it will be able to play would be more enjoyable on hardware keys...

Well lets say that if Samsung releases Galaxy R with 25k pricing. Wouldn't people rather choose Galaxy S II for 3k more given its superior hardware in cpu/gpu/camera etc. Pricing it in the 22-23k seems to be logical. But I am not sure if Samsung would do that.

Aah some solace now. I really disliked the plasticky feel of SGS2. I was about to get the Sensation but I guess I should wait a little now.

Well, the SGS2 is better in cpu bcoz of higher clocks, and has a better camera... But, the nvidia tegra chipset better graphics capabilities than that in SGS2..
