Samsung remains atop the heap with its new N110. Though this netbook's internal organs are the same as its predecessor, including a 1.6-GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of RAM, Windows XP Home, and a 160GB hard drive, Samsung has extended the touchpad and increased the six-cell battery’s capacity to give this $469 netbook a lengthy 7 hours of runtime. Add in a top-notch keyboard, and you have the netbook to beat.

The entire review is available out here.

I can't spot a SINGLE change, except for that absolutely horrible looking red trim around the edges. Thank God I bought the NC10SE last week.

That's impossible. I guess you're talking about the regular vanilla NC10 while I was referring to the NC10SE. The former costs only a shade over $400 in the U.S.

Besides, I didn't buy it for 25k but rather 23,919 @ 51/$. :P

Let's do the math, shall we?
NC10SE in the US (my purchase price): $469 = Rs 23,919.
NC10SE over here via KMD: $469 * 62 = Rs. 29,078
Difference = 5,159.

Unless the special edition is available via retail channels in India, which is highly unlikely IMO, yes. :) I posted my receipt a couple of days ago in the "black NC10 SE now shipping" thread.

well i asked whts the diff. between the one here and there i want to know feature wise thats it. i saw a black one at my dealer.

The basic version is exactly the same. The special edition adds a larger touchpad and a higher capacity battery.

Nope. The regular NC10 has a 5,200mAh battery while the SE has a higher capacity 5,900mAh unit. In terms of battery endurance, the NC10 lasts for about 6h30m while the NC10SE is rated up to 9h.

As mentioned in an earlier post, the SE has a larger touchpad as well.

The new N110 is basically a renamed NC10 SE with the addition of that red trim.
