GTA: San Andreas gets in more trouble over its sexually explicit 'Hot Coffee' scandal, where mini sex games were found in the games code. Australia has completely removed GTA: San Andreas from its shelves after the Australian government's Office of Film and Literature Classification placing a ban on the sale of the game.

No, they owe it to themselves for sloppy programming. You are NOT supposed to include unused code paths in your program. Comment them out, or do not link them in.
If you include such paths u are likely to get into problems. There is an anecdote about some smart alec programmer who put an error message "You can't reach here" in a code path he was sure could never be executed. One of his users them called him up asking what that error meant.
