Storage Solutions San Disk RMA query

I am about to buy a San Disk 32GB class 4 uSD card.
I want to know whether the bill is necessary to claim the warranty. Reason being I can buy it locally about 50 to 100 bucks cheaper than online nad if the bill isn't a kicker I might as well save some money and time by buying it locally.

i RMAed two card through Sandisk, and they didn't specifically asked for invoice.
Here is the list of questions they asked-
.

- Your phone number?
- What it says on the face of card?
- Exact or approximate Date of Purchase of the product in the format of MM/DD/YYYY
- Serial number mentioned on the card(Front and Back)
- Class rating of the card (Number in a circle, on the face of the card)
- Place of purchase.
- Your complete physical address ( with pincode )
- Did the card came in a retail pack? (Yes / No)
- Do you have any important data in the product?
- Are you getting this memory card replaced from SanDisk for the first time?

contact their customer support if you are still not sure


 
Thanks @zapout relieved that the bill was not asked for.
I think Rashi handles SanDisk and they didnt ask for my graphics card invoice either.
Will go ahead and buy locally if get it cheaper than fifty bucks.

i asked them about rashi, their reply was- "
Rashi peripherals Pvt ltd is the distributor and do not replace SanDisk products"
I've to go through "
DIGICOMP COMPLETE SOLUTIONS LTD, " for RMA.

 
Went to the local market and saw Sandisk prices jacked up to 1250/-
Got pissed off and ordered Samsung class 10 32Gb for 1650/- from flipkart.
 
Guys. Need help on the RMA process. My S3 fried 3 month old Sandisk 32GB Sandisk Ultra.

How to replace it? Location : Delhi.
