Hey guys, how much time does it normally takes to get the item from Ebay?? As I said I ordered one for same day, and till now I didn't got any confirmation mail from the seller, I tried to call him, but he's not receiving the call. Though I checked the comments before buying, they seems to be nice.

Here is the item : eBay India: Sandisk USB Cruzer Blade 8GB Pendrive 5 Yr Wrnty 8 GB (item 270660657008 end time 11-Nov-2010 01:27:48 IST)

One more thing, but this is just for knowledge :P

As Paisapay says, the seller won't get the money till he ships the item and buyers confirm it, and after 7days the money will be refunded to buyer's a/c. So what if a buyer doesn't confirm even after getting the item?? After 7days he/she will even the money too..!! :)

I don't think this is so simple, there must be something by which seller can claim that buyer has received the item.
 
^ well, seller gets delivery confirmation through the Courier !

in general, ebay (India) sellers ship in 2/3 days ;

should reach the buyer in a week / 10 days

Not so easy :)

Most sellers usually take upto 3 days to update the shipping details. There are some who do it in a day's time too.

Most shipments reach metros in a couple of days time.

Once a shipment info is update on eBay, the buyer gets upto 10 days to confirm receipt. In the event there is no confirmation from the buyer, eBay sends a reminder mail, in addition to giving a grace period of 5 more days where in the buyer can raise a 'shipment not received' dispute. If the buyer doesn't take any action however, it is assumed that the item has been received. Moreover, since there are tracking details on eBay, in case of disputes, eBay can follow up with the courier company to confirm genuity of seller and buyer.
