Hey guys, finally my new SB system is up & running.. but something seems wrong! Asus Bios monitor & Speedfan are showing CPU Temps in high 80s & it's not going down at all. It stays fluctuating between 70C-90C & it even touched 94C at one point!

But when I tried other monitoring programs like Core Temp, Speccy & AIDA64, they all showed Core & CPU temps under 45C! So which temp is Speedfan & bios showing exactly? & why is it that high? Which program should I trust? & should I be worried?

see if cooler is properly inserted.it happend with me for core i5 760,problem got solved after fixing the heat sink with some thermal paste

Check whether the heatsink is propely fit or not... To fit the HSF properly follow the Intel Manual which usually comes wid Intel CPUs...

Are you also sure your BIOS is not displaying temps in Fahrenheit??? :D
Dude, my bios shows both C & F temps side by side! So I'm sure! :P

I checked it yesterday & it's properly fit. I would have posted pic but I don't have a camera.
