Guys i have some queries regarding 3570k and 2500k.The question is i am planning for i5 3570k but the reviews of this proccy are mixed. Therefore i have few questions.

1.What will be its temp with stock cooler.
2.Considering the fact that the cost of ivy bridge is approx 12% higher. Is it worth it?
3.Can any mobo supporting the sandy bridge (lga1155) will support the 3rd gen ivy bridge?Or it will require a special lga1155 ivy bridge supporting mobo.
4.what i know is all mobos supporting lga1155 will support it but wont have usb 3.0 etc etc.am i correct.
5.should i go for it or get the 2500k instead?Or i5 3550?

very high. depending on your ambient temps, at load and stock i would say 70c.

that depends, are you going to use the PCIE3 bandwidth and are you going to use the IGP?? i would say no if you plan on using any GPU except perhaps the GTX690.

most lga1155 will support IVB after a BIOS update. But i would suggest going for a z77 based chipset rather than the older ones

I dint quite understand your question

If you plan on overclocking then get the 2500k otherwise the 3550

answers in bold :)

^^you mean to say i have to use an IDE to SATA converter if i plan to use any ide device on my system.

As for the overclock.I am still thinking.I really dont like to overclock too much but a 3550 can go max upto 3.7ghz i believe that would be sufficient i think for now.I am still confused between 2500k and 3550 because the price difference between the two is not too much.
