I prob wouldnt take a quad 8800GTX if they gave it to me for 8800GTX price...

lol Dual GPU cards are in market for ages. They were there in days of voodoo, there were there with GF6 series and X1k series.

Nothing too new.

This card is basically tech showoff. Its little late to the scene. But yeah with CF boards two or even more such cards can be made to work together. That would be interesting.
 
the video card requires at least a 500 W capable of generating 30A current over the 12V line. For two Sapphire X1950 Pro Dual video cards in the CrossFire mode (perhaps , the Quad is meant), the requirements are even higher than that – the power rating of the PSU should be at least 550 W and 38A current over the 12V line.

ZOMG! :o u need a psu jus to power tht gpu alone :o :o

good news for the psu companies i guess :S :S
