First the poor idiot gets a VX450 and next he knows his stone age UPS isnt ready to accomodate the latest pet everyone is loving.

So at the advice of the "Lord" me gets the APC 1000 RS.



Damages (If at all you want to call that) 4.2K for the VX450 and 6.6K for the APC.

Bringing it home on a bike was a PITA though.

Ohh and the other little thing lying around in pics is a 7200.11 1.5 TB, plain forgot it in the awe of the VX and APC.

The UPS looks sleek and slick! Never mind the buzzing noise, in fact I'm going to get my 800-BR-IN back. :p
 
@Rave: With the load mentioned in my siggy including the 19" CRT it lasted 24 minutes before safely hibernating the box. So can say about 25Min on full charge.
 
@adder: thanks bro ur inputs helped.

@Rave: this model has an option to add another battery module(externally with a simple connector plug). Its fairly hassle free. and the 25 min is for 1 machine with the 19" philips hogging a lot of power. A similarly specced LCD might consume a lot lesser.
 
hehe problem being that my setup is a bit more power hungry, and a 32" lcd and xbox 360, thats why contemplating if i should get a UPS or inverter
