Storage Solutions SATA HDD detected in BIOS, but stuck loading windows

yup...it was working fine earlier, but now it it not
can too many hard restarts cause this problem?

cause i bought new mobo, and it had major issues, had to hard restart, did it many times seriously
hard drive is seagate 500gb 7200.11
i googled but i think my last resort is to use seagate's software to detect errors

also, i have IDE 40gb, and if i try to connect my corrupted drive as slave, the windows doesnt load, and error comes "Boot failure, please insert system disk and restart"
if i boot with 40gb ide alone, it works fine

help please

well i had the same issue with a 250 giger from the 11 gen only.
It used to be detected in Bios, but windows boot would be delayed by like 5 mins minimum.

Use the segate`s Seacare tool. It has a long and a short duration test to check for HDD health status.
90% of all problems are reported under the short test.

As expected, the seacare tool showed that my drive has issues.Few days later, that drive gave that familiar click of death sound and rma followed.

just lost the data.......was trying to avoid that

Please make multiple backups of the data. Nothing can be done during instances like these other than cursing the drive.
