I dont think so these are available. Even if its available there is no assurance whether it works properly or not. Better get a cheap mobo. Because IDE is totally obsolete. Change the mobo and enjoy 300Mb/s speed with your sata hdd rather than getting the same old 133 Mb/s.

SATA 1, SATA 2, SATA 3 < 100MB/s
Note that it is BYTE and not bit
You can only spin a platter so fast. Faster drives are not that big for storage.
SATA is nothing but a forced upgrade with not all that much more to offer.
There are connectors to go SATA-->IDE, problem is at Rs.300 i would not trsut my data with it. More expensive and therefore reliable adapters (ie PROMISE) are not available in the Indian market.
