Saving Rocket Dock Settings

Iam using Rocket Dock since some time and its great:) Now I wanted to format my system but doing that I will lose all the settings i have done with Rocket dock and start building the icons when I start with a new OS:(

Is there any way that i can save Rocket Dock settings and use it later on in the new OS:huh:
 
Whenever i do a format,
i save a copy of the Rocket Dock folder from Program files and the next time place it back without installing and start the program from the Folder.

Then, enable load on startup. For the icons to work, the

remember, u might have to remove read only before copying the Rocket dock folder and u need to close Rocket dock before copying.
 
I had tried it by copying it via Program files but it didnt work:S though i had installed Rocket dock and then overwrite the existing folder with the folder i had saved:P

Isnt there any other option to save settings for it??
 
Hi,

There is a option in Dock Settings -> General

Check the box saying "Store Settings in Portable INI(Single User)

It will store setting in "C:\Program Files\RocketDock\Settings.ini"

You can backup this file and restore it.

Well u must have done it without changing the mode to read only or copied with Rocket dock running in the background...:) Rocket dock needs to be closed.

It has worked for me everytime and everytime implies like atleast 20 times...:P

U can use the other method also of saving the settings in ini file but u'll lose all themes and also icons (if they are in the RocketDock folder which they will be :) ).

thank you, that method worked, copy paste the folder, now i wont have to setup all the icons and stackdocklets again. tnx!!!!!!!
