Guys I was always fascinated with the scale models I owned since childhood. Off late the idea once again sparked me and hence this thread.

When I was a kid, metal scale models were available from Hot wheels and Funskool in size ratio 1:64.
And even in that the doors, hoods and bonnets use to open. It was greatness of that time.
I dont think today in 1/64 ratio you may even find openable doors.

For bigger sizes like 1:18 or so one can get openable doors, hoods, bonnets, sunroofs, turning tyres or even steering wheel etc. And of course one hell of detailing.

I dont want such huge sized but 1:36 will do just fine but in that I need openable trunk or bonnet along with openable doors.
I started by collecting few Kinsmart models but now not satisfied with them as they just come with openable doors though the overall detailing is good.

Also I dont want to order from overseas sites for obvious costly issues so keep hunting our regular sites for these stuffs.

Is there any good local shop around in Pune or Mumbai where I can physically check before buying??

Looks good but bit pricy for me. Still will checkout for some AMGs and Roadster collections if they have any.
Is this same with BMW, Audi, Volkswagen showrooms as well?

What budget are you looking at.... coz diecast scaled models ain't cheap these days.....
Landmark is store chain which is mostly present in malls.... search online you should get the locations...

I can fetch max 1.5k/ vehicle. I know its bit on a lighter side but again I aint a hardcore scale modeller. Just need some handful models I'm looking for. May be 15 - 20 or something.

Max I can go for is 1:36 model or rarely a 1:24 one. Just today I was delivered Aventador but I dint paid attention to its size during ordering and it came in 1:24. Bit big but descent. So 1:36 and anything below is fine for me. Small and sweet is the way for me.

Also not just cars but I'm also looking for Volvo Buses, Trucks, construction vehicles and some military stuffs as well.

Ebay US/UK got a hell lot of collection for sale but the importing cost is way beyond imagination. I wanted to order one Volvo B9r bus but sadly it was costing 29k. But its one hell of a piece I will say.

Can I get any or some of these @ Landmark?

@nRiTeCh - Checkout Phoenix Mills. They have a huge collection out there.
