Hi,

There is currently a Clearance Sale ongoing at Star Bazaar, Link Road, Andheri (W), Mumbai.

Apart from clothes, accessories & households, the sale is also ongoing in the Toys & Games section.

Car & Bike Scale models are available at lower than MRP prices.

Maisto 1:24 Die Cast Cars are available for Rs.360/- each [MRP Rs.550/- each]

Maisto 1:12 Die Cast Bikes are available for Rs.299/- each [MRP Rs.399/- each]

U need to hurry as the stocks are not gonna last long.

I got myself 5 Maisto 1:12 Bikes for 299/- each. :bleh:

I think this is the right time to add up to your Die Cast Collection. :ohyeah:

No.... It's the one near Andheri Sports Complex. On Andheri Link Road, 2 signals before Fun Republic if u are coming from Parle or 2 signals after Fun Republic if u are coming from Goregaon. The Mall name is Crystal Point or Crystal Plaza sumthing like that. Sorry, don't remember exactly.

No, I haven't checked back. Sorry.

Will post pics as soon as the carpenter finishes adding the new shelf on my already crowded wall-garage........!!! :D

And Yes, I have checked the collection at Hypercity. In fact, I have made purchases from there quiet a few times. They have an excellent collection.

The staff is helpful & they even arrange to get the models u want in case it is not in stock & deliver it to ur place.

They sell by MRP. They have models from Maisto, Autoart, bBurago, Hot Wheels, New Ray, Raster etc. Prices are pretty much standard. Ranging from 250 (Basic New Ray Models) to up to 7.5k (R/C Trucks from Maisto).

U really end up spending more than u would want to there!!! Lol :P
 
Well i think 299/- is the average price for most of the die-cast cars/bike. Even Life Style mall's at mumbai, Oberoi in Goregoan stock them.
 
UPDATE: The fun has ended...... They have no more clearance stocks with them. A friend who went there today informed me about it........ :(

^^ I disagree..... any standard brand (read Maisto/New Ray) charges no less than Rs.550/- for their 1:24 scale models. I am talking about the real scales, not the Chinese ones u get in any toy shops. :P

Like me...... I cannot afford the Lamborghini Reventon but that doesn't stop me from 'owning' it........!!! Lolzzz :D

I will surly post pics of my Showroom I am designing ofcourse model showroom, for which i am yet to procure Model cars yet but once the showroom is ready I may have to go back again for toy cars (1:18 or 1:24) model

Hell yes..... that's absolutely true......

Only thing is that our pockets can only afford the 1:18 / 1:24 scales & not the 1:1 scales of the 'toys' we love.........!!! :P
