Hi all,
Saw few days back "School of Rock" in IMDB.com it's listed as a musical comedy. Atlhough didn't see any comedy but liked the musical as well as an ethical values part in it. It's one of the movies which inspires, its about a guy 'Jack Black' who's a gopher/a slacker who likes music more than anything else & doesn't want to compromise. Somehow he ends up teaching music to one of the most snobbish, richest schools in the county (or was it country, well whatever!) & ends up having a bond with them.
The best scene I liked in the movie is at the end where the kids & the parents see each other at the 'Clash of the Bands' or something to the effect where Jack Black tells to the whole audience that the lyrics are written by the guitarist of the group who's a 10 yr. old rather than using his authority/influence & passing it as his own. There was also quite a great article in the last week's businessworld which talks about the same thing 'Attribution'. It doesn't take more than a moment to acknowledge somebody else's genius & in fact feels good.
