Hey guys!

I'm using an Apple iPhone 2G, dropped it last week and ended up with a smashed screen. I'm looking for anyone who could tell me where to get the screen, or even if anyone of you have a dead iphone 2G you aren't using anymore, i can salvage. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated! :D

I am planning to order LCD replacement for my iPod Touch 2G from ebay.com as well. LCD with digitizer for iPhone 2G is available with that seller LINK
Let me know if you want to order from ebay maybe we can save on shipping.
I had word with seller few days back. He will provide tracking no. & according to him we will receive shipment with in 12-20 days.

I got my ipod touch 2g screen from alibaba for about $5 & I choose the cheapest shipping option for it, it came with a digitizer too, I had to convince the dealer that I was a repair technician & as the 2gen is an old device, I did not want to buy spares in bulk quantities... I also bought the lcd screen & audio jack.... the diy guide can be followed from ifixit for spares one may need.

Hey,
Thanks for the idea. Please let me know which dealer was that?
BTW I have just emailed one of the dealer. :D

Thanks a lot buddy.

$5 is really cheap! I have an old iPhone 2G lying around with a few pixel rows from the top dead (probably from a small drop). I think it's worth spending $5 on that!
