:O Eh!!

It's obvious crysis would win but who in the hell would wanna make a comparison like this..

You might as well compare a girl whose been using fair and lovely, another girl using some branded beauty cream and my BUTT!!

My butt wins hands down :P

crysis luks into more realistic lighting, MSG4 seems like a forever flashback in some hollywood flick , but has great graphics too....

According to me MGS looks gr8 in lightning & Crysis looks gr8 in details....awesome details can be seen in the screenshots itself...Drakes fortune....maybe time will tell...

Crysis beats them hands down..

MSG4 lughting looks surreal n may feel cool for some time, but really that kind of washed out stylized lighting will wear our eyes soon...

it is also washed out cause of the location being in the desert. it is comparing 2 diff locations. crysis being in the forest will be more colorfull where as mgs is located in the desert.

Lets see what locations MGS4 will be offering....various locations as per Kojima....Desert is one of the locations....

As for Drake's fortune, those are old screenies. There's a leaked Game Informer article recently stating this..

After hearing about the game's cinematic story, seeing the technology that backs up the exciting plotline, and playing the game for ourselves, we're sure about one thing. This is one title that should give hold-outs against the pricey PS3 a reason to pause and look again."

-They want an emotional story, and so far there's fifty minutes of cinematics.
-They have an awesome animation scheme that allows for over 1,200 different unique ways of doings things like taking cover. There's nine screens of Drake taking cover behind a pillar...all of them completely different stances. Freaking awesome. (the final game will have 3,000)
-Sixaxis allows for some tilting moments, like crossing a narrow log and balancing, Kratos-style.
-more on the unique animations: if Drake is running across an open field, he will visibly become more and more out of breath, his entire body shaking if he runs enough. His face will show all these emotions as well.
-Everything in the jungle shifts and sways, with dynamic shadowing, and high-dynamic range lighting.
-soundtrack is also dynamic
-graphics are really, really good looking. I can't imagine how this thing is gonna look in real time...crazy.

GameInformer sums up the game: It's Die Hard meets Indiana Jones, with gameplay that goes back to Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider and gun segments like Gears of War. Ultimately however, it's a new genre that's unclassifiable at this point.

Those screenshots are awesome! Yup, Crysis wins hands down because of better lighting..

MSG4 has a kinda blurred look to it which though artistic doesnt seem to give the level of detail Crysis does..

I have seen the footage of Drake's Fortune....it was awesome....not that gr8 like Crysis....though MGS4 looks gr8 too....

No doubt the detail on Crysis is frickin awesome, but I personally didn't find MGS4 to be that bad...

@ madmonkey -

Dude..no offense (Me too MGS Fan)...but the screens u posted were pre-rendered version...also Crysis looks gr8 in realtime...but I hope MGS4 delivers what it has promised....a gr8 story line......I still cant forget MGS3...it was hardhitting....The same shud be with MGS4.....

Actually those are real-time,kojima said it himself..

When this trailer debuted at the 2005 Tokyo Game Show a few days ago, the Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer got a similar reception to the Killzone trailer at E3 -- almost universal awe. But when the initial shock wore off, the same question was raised by skeptics -- was it a real-time demonstration of the PlayStation 3's in-game graphical power, or a pre-rendered trailer?

To dispel any doubt, series director Hideo Kojima and artist Yoji Shinkawa held a stage event at Konami's TGS booth to prove that the visuals are indeed running in real-time on the next-generation console. "This trailer isn't a CG or something that we've rendered on a high-spec PC," said Kojima "This is the real thing on a PlayStation 3 development kit."
