Scumbags on FaceBook

This is a thread where we all post stuff which the noobs on FaceBook do and share, and which, to even a guy with a pea sized brain would look absolutely annoying.

I can think of no better way to describe than TVS tyres(absolutely pathetic tyres BTW) tag line: "The world is full of idiots."

Let me start of by this

One of the idiots in my friend list actually shared this.

A couple lost their 25 year old son in a fire at home on June 4th. The son who had graduated with MBA, two weeks earlier had come home for a while. He had lunch with his dad at home and decided to go back to bed.His father told him to wait, to meet his mother, before he went back for a few days. He decided to take a nap while waiting for his mom to come back home from work. Some time later their neighbors called 911 when they saw black smoke coming out of the house.
Unfortunately, the 25 years old died in the three year old house. It took several days of investigation to find out the cause of the fire.
It was determined that the fire was caused by the laptop resting on the bed. When the laptop was on the bed cooling fan did not get the air to cool the computer and that is what caused the fire. He did not even wake up to get out of the bed because he died of breathing in carbon monoxide emitted out of burnt laptop.
The reason I am writing this to all of you is that I have seen many of us and also our brothers& sisters sons&daughters friends&family using the laptop while in bed. Let us all decide and make it a practice not to do that. The risk is real. Let us make it a rule not to use the laptop on bed with blankets and pillows around. Please educate as many people as you can.

When i was 20, i was guilty of changing my profile pic every 7 days , updating nonsense just to stay relevant on FB. However, a 26 year old me just laughs at the 20 year old version of me and how juveline social media nonsense is :P . Facebook is nothing but a tawdry competition to prove "My life is cooler than yours"

Its not about updating my life is cooler than yours that matters, or fake check-ins(I believe they do happen more than often), its these stupid scumbags who have absolutely no knowledge of how the site works that gets me. Like for every share facebook donates $1 or we need 10000 likes or spreading obviously fake information like the stuff in the first post. Thats what annoys me the most.[DOUBLEPOST=1410106756][/DOUBLEPOST]Edit: And what annoys me even further is that this guy is the coolest guy in college and chicks blindly accept what he says with comments like thanks for sharing & OMG I didnt know this. etc etc

Don't you think the word 'scumbag' is a bit harsh? Dumbass is more correct.
Also, I'm detecting some jealousy here...

Fake Nationalists , Fanboys of Film Stars , Sports stars , Religions and politics, who cannot think freely and blindly follw what they belive are the real scum bags of facebook
 
Unfriending them is not an option. Some of these guys are my good friends. Also telling them to stop posting spam is impossible.
