SD Card for Canon SX100IS: Sandisk 2GB Normal SD or Extreme III ??

My brother is buying Canon sx100is camera from US. Which SD Card he should go for ?

-> Sandisk normal 2GB Memory Card (approx 15 $)

-> Sandisk Extreme III 2GB Memory Card ?? (approx 35 $)

Is the price difference worth it ? if yes then why ?

want to shoot video ? then neither extreme 3 is something that will make it worthwhile. but 2 gb will prove to be too less as far as spaces goes.

if not for most purposes ur normal sd will do fine.

Go for the normal one, I have 720is with 2GB sandisk sd card and it is fine enough for videos and even burst mode.

Using same camera and 2gb Sandisk Class 2 SD Card. smooth stuff.

Get the normal 2GB SD. Else for bigger capacity (4/8GB), any Class 6 SDHC card.
