I have a sony point and shoot camera wx70 16mp with 1080p recording. my class 4 card cant do well for recording video at this high quality. Suggest me an SDHC card for recording the vidoes fully smooth and without glitches and frame problems at this quality.

I have shortlisted sandisk extreme. will it do the job perfectly? i want a 32gb card.

moreover, what will be the condition if i buy a mirco SD sandisk extreme and use it with adapter for SDHC purpose?? will it be able to give the proper speeds?

Even if you can afford the Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-1 cards, it won't make any difference in your camera or in other words your camera will be the bottleneck since it cannot fully utilize the UHS-1 card speeds.

I use a Sony UHS-1 card in my DSLR .The card specs say that it has a read speed of 95MB/s and a write speed of a max of 45MB/s and it costs just around 1/3rd the cost of the Sandisk UHS-1 95 MB/s(both read/write are 95MB/s).

Get a class 10 card. A 32 GB shouldn't cost more than 1.2k. Most cameras available today don't support UHS-I speeds.
