SE J100i with Airtel

Hey guys I had bought this J100i with airtel card 1yr validity & some 2k rs minutes free. Now validity is expired & its purely prepaid.

When I put the airtel card in other mobile it works but no other card works in the J100i. It asks for subsidy password.

Will this get done in a local mob shop or even better does anyone know any DIY or quick fix solutions for this. Tried the usual pwds 0000,1111,1234 no good.

Your phone is currently locked to the Airtel network, so it cannot accept SIM cards from any other network. You will need an unlock code to do that. Since the 1 year period has expired, I think Airtel's CC will do that if you call them up. Alternatively, you can use a third party unlocking service like Wotan Server or Mobile Unlocker.
