SE K750i Display Brightness gone MAD? Help Pls.?

Friends,

Till yesterday 9.00 pm my k750i working 100% fine, some about near 12.30 am I suddenly found that Display screen is SO BRIGHT, it makes just impossible to see any menu or sms or wallpaper etc. etc. (I'm not talking about Camera Brightness)

Still phone working perfectly I can received calls & access all menu holding it in certain angle but it's also pain to eyes.

I reduce brightness to ZERO but there is no change in DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS.

What's your suggestion, shall I flash the phone? Any disadvantages of flashing the phone?

Reflash to be safe and/or save urself the trouble of service centres!
