Seagate 500 GB 3.5" Drive

Expected Price: Rs 2,300/-

Time of Purchase: December 2009

Indian warranty valid/Remaining Warranty period: Yes about 2 years, much more than the one year warranty available now on new drives

Reason for Sale: Got a new HDD

Purchase Invoice Available: No

Product Condition: Very good condition. No issues at all. Product says recertified drive, as I had got it changed under warranty a week after I bought it.

Accessories Included: NA

I think 7200.11, but I may be wrong. If I remember right, these were the HDD's that had a firmware issue, which is what I had faced. They then updated the firmware and replaced it.

Seems you referring to 7200.10 series which had write block issue.

7200.11 also had various problems.. Seagate later came with a firmware for it.
