Have a friend's 500GB Seagate Expansion Portable drive(2.5") for sale....the drive is in perfect working condition, no bad sectors, nothing.

The drive was given as a gift from someone abroad.So, no bill.Quite unsure on the Warranty status as the Seagate site shows Warranty as valid, but a friend reported that his RMA was rejected in a similar case.

^^ Dont want to ruin the sale

But just as an FYI even non- Indian Seagate HDDs sold will show up as warranty valid on Seagate website but will be rejected while doing RMA by Accel stating " Invalid non-India distibutor imported drive"
I had got a Seagate HDD from an ebay India seller around 2 years back and though it showed 3 years warranty left on website and I even had the bill, it was rejected by Accel....I had to send back the HDD to the ebay seller for replacement(yet to receive it)....later it was found to be parallel imported drive done by Cost to Cost Delhi from where the ebay seller bought it !

2. AND any testing warranty offered

3. I hope you are confident of good packing

1.Yup,USB powered...no external power source required.

2.Sure, why not? 1 week testing warranty with full refund including return shipping paid from my pocket.You just need to update on the HDD status upon receipt, thats all.

3.Yup, will be packed as best as i can-mostly towards shockproofing.

4.Will PM u.
