Simple and clean the new 7200.12 500gb Single Platter how many people will be interested in the same. at a price of

^ For that you can check seagate.com , dealers distributors here are just saying 5 years to us at least.

Also the warranty terms for the new drives all over the world or india would be same not that we will get 3 years and some one else can produce a 5 years one :)
 
The normal HDD 500GB is like 2800 bucks at NP but this one is a new revision and the data transfer rates are better. So paying a little more is not a bad idea.

I am sure the prices will come down.
 
what a loss for me. recently only i bought a 7200.11 500GB 32 MB Cache, for os installation. I will really miss 7200.12. really just 2 weeks back only..

no money to invest on 7200.12, now.
