well...first off..chances are high this is a 5900Rpm model. not the 7200 ones. but the TB per platter ones.

Yep probably, but there were many on SlickDeals who got the 7200 RPM version too from Amazon.

Here is a comparison of the two variants -- http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=26140.0

Summary
Disk Reads: DX drives are faster
Disk Writes: DM and DX drives are about the same.
Temperature: DM drives are MUCH cooler, by as much as 39%!!!
Parity Sync/Check: DX drives are faster by 7.5%, I assume reads must weigh heavier than writes in terms of duration.
Copying Files to the array: No difference (assuming you use a cache disk)
I would prefer the cooler 5900 RPM model as its mainly for backup and don't really need the marginal speed gains.

I Got a refund of 7.46$ for my 3TB drive,as price has fallen from 128$ to 119.99$.

And 4TB deal over ! Amazon listing dissapeared , lowest is 149$ from some seller ![DOUBLEPOST=1364328589][/DOUBLEPOST]WOW ! Also the Amazon executive refunded my 8.48$ import deposit ,even though i havent received the item yet (will receive tomorrow/day after) , i just told amazon person on chat , that no customs was charged ,and she refunded both the customs deposit and the price difference !

Had paid 149.74 , got back 15.94$ as refund , Net Cost of 3TB = 133.8$ ! :D :D :D
