Storage Solutions Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120 GB not recognized by system BIOS

Hello Friends,
A working pulled out Seagate HDD Model. Barracude 7200.7 ST31200244 is not being recognized by system BIOS. I am using ABIT IP-35E motherboard with 250GB Seagate SATA Master drive and would like to add another 120GB Slave HDD as optional storage with ATA interface but HDD is not recognized by the BIOS. So, Please guide me accordingly.

1.Reset BIOS

2.Update Motherboard BIOS ( If 1st step not working.)

3.Update firmware of ur HDD ( If 1st and 2nd not working)

Remove ur 250 gb and only plug 120gb, see it detect or not .

Any activity from drive on boot, sound, grinding, tic tic? Try different SMPS.

Does anyone know the contact number of Seagate India ? I am under the same boat as that of the OP and the drive is not getting detected. Its DOA.

Accel Frontline Seagate service center is in Sector 35-C, SCO 409-10, Top floor, near by Cafe Cofee Day restaurant, Contact number 5025867, 265461. Nice people there, replacement in three to five days.
