Storage Solutions Seagate Dockstar Availability

I was thinking of building a download rig, when I came across the Seagate Dockstar. It has 3 x USB ports, 1 Network port, and seems to be available in the US for $30 with shipping.

Since it can be modded to run Linux, it seems a sweet deal to me. The only problem is that I don't see any people from India mentioning this device at all.

So, is the Seagate Dockstar available in India ? Or will I have to try to import this ?

IIRC Varkey did make a mention of the Dockstar from a German link citing it was cheap there.

Maybe you can initiate an IC - if there are many members interested in getting it, you can get it off for cheap through I2C world. Send them a link and get an estimate for a limited quantity.

Anyone managed to get torrents etc running on it? any links?

^ I haven't got the device yet, but you should be able to install transmission pretty easily once you have installed a Linux OS into it. And the torrents can be managed easily via the transmission webui.
