Go for the freeagent series as the warranty is 5 yrs and for flex its only 2 yrs, however i dont have any idea about the performance/reliability/portability of the flex series. But i think the flex comes with usb 3 interface , so you can enjoy high transfer speeds when interfaced with a mobo which supports it....
