I had bought a Seagate 7200.12 1TB (Model no ST31000528AS) recently.
HDTune shows it has a very high amount of reallocated sectors (value=746).
Now clearly this drive is bad, but the thing is that neither the SMART tests nor the Seatools tests fail. All of them pass. I wanted to know if Seagate would still accept this drive for warranty or do I have to wait till it dies?
