Graphic Cards searching for the right agp graphics card

Hi, At the moment I have xfx 6200 256mb agp card. I want to play games better than what 6200 allows. I want to play COD4 and 5 , Cyrix etc.I need an agp card that will enable me to enjoy those games but at low cost. I am going to revamp my rig next year in a big way.

I have some cards in mind like 7600gt, (I'm not sure about 6800) but I am a little confused.

So guys, suggest AGP cards that play better and don't cost more.

Btw, I would say don't buy cards like the 7300GT (AGP). I happen to have one of those in my older PC and it performs miserably in games like CoD 4 or Crysis. The frame rates are horrible even on the lowest settings. :no:

whats ur motherboard model? if ur mobo supports 8x AGP then good.

as in my opinion, some AGP cards, are not backward compatible at AGP 4X, so if your mobo supports only 4x AGP, and you buy an 8x AGP card, which does not support 4x AGP, then there will be problem.

please take a note of this before buying an AGP card.
