Thanks @creative420 . I am still inclined towards P780.[DOUBLEPOST=1380863439][/DOUBLEPOST]Can someone using Lenovo P780 confirm, the battery is removable or not ?

I checked on snapdeal (cheapest deal available as of now 16900), one of its reviewer wrote in cons as battery non removable.

It's non-removable. Considering the already massive battery... I doubt it can be taken as a con.

If the battery life was bad and it was <2000 mAh.. i could understand the concern but at 4000mAh o_O

Thanks @raksrules , i guess it will be costlier than regular batteries?

I think you know few shops here and there, any shop nearby Parihar Chowk to see p780 ?

I am not sure if any stores might be carrying the Lenovo phones or not. They usually have the big name ones like samsung, sony etc. Try Reliance Digital in Sanewadi or Croma.
There is a mobile shop opposite to McDonalds and just besides Celebration Gift Shop (on the road going towards Convergys). It has big samsung written over it.
You can try MG Road / Camp area too as there are many mobile shops there.

Thanks, first I would like to see p780 in hand and then go for it, want to check the looks and build first.

I am planning to buy during Dasara/Diwali. Lowest I found was on snapdeal around 16.5k...

Hmmmmm well the battery is the beast as expected... ;) I am no expert but writing my own impressions as below !! :)

On full charge yesterday did everything(2g data on, games for 1 hr, whats-app, mails, music, videos for 2 hrs)... only 30% drain after 12 hrs or so...

Wanted to tweak battery (as suggested in phone) (drain below 15% and charge thereafter to full ) - really had a hard time reducing it to 15% :banghead:
so recharged my S2 with OTG, played NFS, data transfer/delete via Airdroid App, camera clicks etc...

Honestly I wan`t expecting that much from this phone. The overall build is as if the Lenovo guys have made extensive study of "missing in android" stuff and put in this phone (Battery, Power management tools - (ask me the details), UI, default storage of Apps in external card, and so many...)

Go for second hand galaxy note 2. Best phone I am using right now. You can find people offering on OLX etc or mobile shops. Check you local shops for some warranty one - people usually need money hence they sell it.
