Important Note : Folks making all the way to either Temp Ban List or Section Inaccessibility List are requested not to create aka/alternate id's to log on to TE, as this would only make it worse for them. The best thing to do is just browse TE as a passive member and do some Introspection on where you went wrong. That way, as and when the ban is lifted you could utilize the opportunity to turn a new leaf and earn respect of Staff and TE members.

To all our Esteemed Members,

From now on very are implementing a novel way to approach the cases of Spamming/Flaming/Religion Bashing/Racism/Trolling etc which are repeatedly being indulged in by few of our members.

All this has resulted in a general degradation of threads/debates which otherwise would be possible among TE members, also it has caused a lot of bad blood between some of our members which cannot be construed as a sign of vibrant and healthy forum.

Not to forget the racist slur which is being dished out nowadays is a big no-no in any form or manner.

So from now on, instead of banning a user or deleting/editing each & every post which is breaking TE rules, we have implemented a hack which would keep the individual concerned out of that section i.e. that particular section would be inaccessible to the user(see no evil - write no evil).

This also comes with a added benefit, as most of the infractions by such members are limited to a particular section, he/she would be able to carry out normal TE activity just like our well-behaved members. The only difference being, the one section where the particular user's thought process goes out the drain would remain out of bounds for him. Good for user - mighty good for us.

The minimum period the section/sections would be unavailable to you would be variable lasting from a few hours, days or maybe even weeks. No plea's or requests to reverse the decision on such issues would be entertained either by Mods/GMods/Admins. The decision to add a user to the list would be arrived at by Staff after careful study & repetitive nature of the crime.

This List comes into effect from the time of posting this thread. Users would be added/removed as & when it is required.
